I joined eXp Realty in the fall of 2021 to assist clients with both the purchase and sale of properties in and around The Villages, FL. I have over 40 years in the customer service field from insurance underwriting, administration in insurance brokerage, co-owner and comptroller of a commercial millwork manufacturing company and administrative assistant in property management. I am originally from Georgia, where my two children still reside. I have been visiting The Villages, since 1999 when my parents moved here.  I made my permanent residency here in 2018. He and his wife, Linda, are residents of The Villages®; they own an investment property in The Villages®; and, they are passionate about all The Villages® Community has to offer. With that said, The Villages® is not for everyone, and Howard is also passionate about education and helping buyers make informed decisions. So even if The Villages® isn't a good fit for a buyer, he will assist in pursuing other options. 

Howard is a former real estate attorney and title company owner from Louisville, Kentucky. He was licensed in both Kentucky and Indiana, and he was the Kentucky State Direct Operations Manager for First American Title Insurance Company in a prior chapter of his life. 

The next chapter was completely different. Howard and Linda quit their corporate jobs at age 41 in 2005, sold everything, and bought an RV. They lived and traveled in the RV for nearly fifteen years, and they made a living teaching others about full-time RVing through their website RV-Dreams.com. In December 2019, Howard and Linda started their next chapter. They put the RV in storage and moved into The Villages® Community in central Florida, a place they had been visiting for a few years. 

They love the lifestyle and sharing the good and the bad, the pros and the cons, with those that are interested in this large 55-plus retirement oasis. Howard decided to obtain his Florida real estate license and use his prior real estate background to assist and inform those curious about The Villages®. With both legal research and financial backgrounds (he also has an Accounting degree), he is able to sift through the details and the somewhat complicated aspects of the unique community, and he has a knack for communicating in a way that is easy to understand.
